Branding & Logo Design
The American Marketing Association (AMA) defines a brand as a "name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of each intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of other sellers.
So we can see that branding is not strictly about outselling your competition but promoting the notion that your products are the only answer to the customers needs. When a prospect needs to purchase a particular item, truly successful branding would eliminate your competition's offerings from their minds. Only your trusted logo and brand would provide a solution to thier problem.
A successful branding exercise will aim to achieve:
- Your product or brand's credibility
- Emotional response in your target audience
- To motivate the customer to purchase
- A cementing of customer loyalty
Success in branding depends on how well the desires of your customers are met. Brand strategies must encompass all customer touch points, each being leveraged as much as possible to integrate your brand into your customer's everyday lives.
Branding is the most important device you can utilize to create longevity and stronger sales over time. Think of your brand as a promise to the customer that you provide the best product, service and care.
